I've come to acknowledge last year as the 'year of the subscription' for me -- I had so many boxes, and I reviewed the majority here on The ecoLogical. So let's treat today's post like a year in review!
I'll be running through every ethical subscription box I got in 2018 (not counting a few one off boxes I treated myself to like the
LowToxBox collections), and making a sort of visual diary of all the fabulous edits I unboxed throughout the year. And of course I would love to know what your favourites were in the comments! xx

It was a wonderful year, and I discovered so many amazing brands and boxes over the twelve month period. I loved finding new natural, cruelty free, and vegan friendly products every few weeks, plus there were so many organic and plastic free goodies represented! I honestly loved opening up each of these ethical subscriptions, and I am looking forward to another year of brilliant boxes!
Top of the list for me? Well, I would have to put The Natural Beauty Box and Love Lula at the top based on their consistently great edits as well as how many I actually got compared to the others. Both had exceptional value every time, and I discovered so many fab pieces. In terms of unique edits, The Natural Beauty Box edges closer to #1 as there are just so many small businesses represented and I love how they theme the edits.
Of course I was also head over heels for the Vertue Box collection as well as the Natural Wellness edits I got, and Stars & Sage was generally good (with some hiccups), plus the Skin Organics Christmas box was lovely. And of course The Cruelty Free Beauty Box has a special place for me in my beauty box heart... There were just so many great boxes in 2018!
Like I mentioned, 2019 will probably have fewer unboxings -- I need to work through my massive collection so nothing goes wasted, plus I don't currently have a regular income and need to be careful with my spending. But I will obviously be
reviewing the collections I do get!

This was really fun to see all the different boxes for the year. I've never heard of Stars & Sage so will have to check that one out. I wish I had endless money to subscribe to them all! They are all so gorgeous subscriptions. :D

I was very lucky to get so many last year- basically any time I sold a little bundle of items I couldn't/wouldn't use, I then bought a new box 🙈 Stars & Sage is one to keep an eye on for sure. sometimes I LOVE the edits, other times not so keen. but they always do a fab job at representing smaller brands x
